Autoworks technicians and staff bring more than 250 years of collective car care knowledge to the servicing of your vehicle. We regularly attend both regional and national training programs offered by foreign and domestic car manufacturers. We also send them to on-going instructional classes in the latest technologies, such as hybrid vehicle maintenance.

Stephen Kosacz  
Owner

Has 40+ years experience repairing all makes and models. He led the local Cub Scout troup in a handyman workshop during January 2016. The scouts all participated in checking engine oil and changing tires on their parents vehicles. They enthusiastically all received a complimentary tire pressure gauge. Stephen "cut his teeth" working on SAAB 2 cycles back in college. He enjoyed auditing former Governor and State Senator Angus King's Leadership course at Bowdoin.

Stephen successfully bicycled coast to coast back East from Anacortes, Washington across America to York Harbor, Maine in summer of 2012, over 57 days. Energy conservation,  racing Laser sailboats around New England, cross-country skiing, fly fishing. He serves on the town Energy Committees for Kittery and York, Maine.

Jeremy Maddox  
Service Advisor

Jeremy holds a Maine State Inspection license and has parts supply experience. He's been working on all types of vehicles for 20 years. He successfully completed Toyota Engine Performance II for professional technicians as well the ACDC Hybrid Training Course.

July 2012 successful completion of Bosch Service Processes online certification.

Lisa Lavallee
Office Manager

Lisa is our tax, accounting and administrative management wiz.

Gary Souliere 
Shop Maintenance

Helps our place run like a Swiss watch. Gary handles state inspections, tire repairs, painting and light bodywork. He enjoys taking cars apart and putting them back together in order to get them back on the road.

Ken Vining  
ASE Certified Master Technician - Auto & Truck

Ken knows Fords, Chryslers and hybrids inside and out, and has 15 years experience on domestic cars. He recently rewired a Mercedes Benz.  This summer he completed a massive overhaul on a vintage Porsche. He holds a new training certification from ATG on Hyundai/Kia engine performance.

Oct. 2014 he attended the Hybrid drive battery technical training. September 2012 he completed ACDelco Engine Training. A division of General Motors, AC Delco provided Engine Electronic and Management Performance Training which included, fuel injection, computers, sensors and systems analysis.

He was in Quebec on a snowmobiling trip in 2012.

Don Ruger  
ASE Certified Master Technician

Customers trust his 36 years of experience. Don solves problems others give up on especially with Saab and VW vehicles. He successfully completed recent certification in Hyundai/Kia engine performance.  He also holds Autologic certification for Land Rover, Jaguar, BMW.

Tannye Wold
Marketing & Customer Relations

Tannye assists us at the front desk and keeps us current with social media and marketplace changes. She  organized the first Girl Scouts of Maine "Car Care Badge" classes which Autoworks owner, Stephen Kosacz instructed.  She implemented the first in the state Brakes for Breasts Fundraiser in Oct. 2014 and continued it 2015. The  next free Women's Car Care Seminar with AC Delco will be October 2, 2013.  Past seminars were held in March and June , 2012 .

Derek Christopherson  
ASE Certified Master Technician - Auto & Truck

Derek offers 42 years experience repairing all makes and models. April 2012 completed Hyundai/Kia engine performance certificate training by ATG.

He holds certification for Mercedes Benz independent training on chassis/drive train components. He  has an  ATG training certificate on Ford Engine performance as well as Autologic certificate for Land Rover, Jaguar, BMW.
